Homemade food will always be king when it comes to comfort. Good old soul food that feels both hearty and gathers your loved ones all at one dinner table isn’t replaceable by takeaways and delivery orders. But that doesn’t have to mean you’re stuck slaving away in the kitchen, either. Enter Jessy’s Kitchen, the local homecooking company that serves up all our fav dishes straight from their home to ours. 

Launched just two months ago, the food delivery business has already “I’ve always had a passion for cooking. I was working in marketing for a decade before I decided to launch Jessy’s Kitchen and when I launched it, I did it in just 24 hours,” Yasmine Mansour, homecook and founder behind Jessy’s Kitchen told us.

Delivering a four person serving at the price of one regular restaurant serving, she whips up classics like chicken lemon dill, butter chicken, beef stroganoff, steak with pepper sauce, among a huge selection on a very extensive menu. Side dishes, oriental food, and desserts are not neglected either. We recommend their coffee tres leches. 

The home joint also sends over frozen meals, so you can store them for later for those last-minute moments you don’t have a chance to cook. As for the future, Mansour hopes to be able to open her own restaurant that still upkeeps the quality and warmth of her homemade goodies.
