You'll Want to Get Your Kids on This Monster's Table for Some Nomnomnom

Made by a mum right in her kitchen, straight to your precious little monsters' doorstep.

Feeding your kids is an act of love for any mother, and she's got to make sure she feeds all her children perfectly. Feeding babies in particular is like that, but on steroids. Making sure your baby is getting all the right nutrients is a very specific and tiring ordeal, and often results in something that tastes real nasty.

Wanting to rescue mums from the stress of making baby food, 29-year-old Farah Ali set out to do the dirty work for them. “I always had a dream to open my own bistro, and jumped around from job to job to save money for it, but it was paused when I had my little girl two years ago,” Ali told us. In an act to merge her love for cuisine and her newfound mommy-hood, Ali pursued a child nutrition diploma— and boom, The Monster's Table was born.

In case you’ve been living under a mummy rock, family-friendly is the new cool. Our little ones often don’t want to eat the baby food we buy or make, not only because it looks unappealing but because adults aren’t eating it with them (giving away the fact that we would really rather avoid it with them). Food that is all-natural, homemade by the chef herself, super nutritious and is literally just normal food is the better way to go.

Pasta sauces, purees and finger food are some of the options on The Monster’s Table’s mommy menu. And the fact that they’re launching totally eco-friendly, plastic-free new packaging on Sunday isn’t exactly a deal breaker (we’re trying to raise an eco-conscious generation, dammit). You can send back their glass jars to get some money off, too. “What I wouldn’t feed my daughter I wouldn’t feed anyone else’s children,” said Ali, who makes all her own raw materials even like breadcrumbs and salsa. The Monster’s Table is 100% natural, uses no salts or processed sugars, but instead uses ingredients like dates or maple syrup to sweeten her recipes. We know a bunch of adults that could probably do with these healthier recipes too, honestly. Made by a mum right in her kitchen, straight to your precious little monsters' doorstep.
