Leaf Beef: This New Brand are Serving Plant-Based Realness with their Vegan Burger Kits

So, while many of us claim to express an unyielding love for burgers, steaks, fried chicken or cheese – many others, for health or personal reasons – have chosen to go down the plant-based or vegan route but often find themselves at a loss when looking for alternatives  in Egypt of some of their fave animal protein based foods. Joining in on the vegan revolution is Leaf Beef, a new all-Egyptian brand – founded by 16-year-olds Nemr Abdel Rahman and Mohamed Ashraf - entirely dedicated to making and delivering homemade vegan burgers, that come easy AF burger kits. What were you doing at the age of 16?

The patties themselves are all-natural, and made using mixed beans, chickpea, soy beans, potatoes, tomato sauce, mixed spices, Himalayan salt, salt, pepper, beetroot and oats. Also in the kit, you’ll get vegan buns, vegan cheese sauce, BBQ sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and onions, aka pretty much the whole shebang. 

In the future, Leaf Beef aim to expand and add vegan hot dogs, vegan meatballs and vegan cheese to their product range.
