The last month or so has been a whirlwind of emotions and events for everyone, especially the food industry. To help stop the spreading of the novel COVID-19, all restaurants across the country were not allowed to offer their dine-in services and only provide delivery and takeout during weekdays -- with them obvs completely shutting down during weekends. The Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has just announced, however, a new change of plans.
Instead of being affective at 8 pm, the curfew has now been extended to begin at 9 pm starting tomorrow for Ramadan. Restaurants will also be able to open their doors on the weekends, which wasn't the case before, for takeout and delivery.
