Egypt's culinary culture will take centre stage at the inaugural ‘Tourism and Taste’ festival, which will be held soon at Cairo Tower. The rich flavours of traditional Egyptian dishes are set to revive food tourism, immersing visitors in an abundance of flavours - and possibly - a food coma.
The food extravaganza will run from February 23rd to 25th, celebrating traditional Egyptian cuisine. Attendees can expect a delicious selection of mahshi and sizzling koshari plates, among other traditional dishes. Will the entirety of Zamalek smell like tasha? Will our grandmothers retire their Tefal pans soon after? Possibly.
The festival is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
